Now
she has dinner at five o’clock. Now she wears sleepers at home instead of
shoes. Now she has not panic to cross the streets. Now she knows how to count
pennies. Now she loves tea and coffee. Now she has her particular way to
wear. Now she is one of them.

ReplyDeleteI would change the tenses. (Now that she's had dinner. Now that she's wearing slippers. Now that...). Just like in a movie. Like if every sentence was a shot or frame of the whole scene).
